Downs Sole Sponsor of the new Royal College
of Surgeons (UK) International Educational Website
The Royal College of Surgeons of England has recently
launched a new website called The International
Network for Learning and Teaching Surgical Skills,
which is designed for surgeons around the world
to share expertise and educational research.
Participating institutions include Colleges
in South Africa, Australia, Canada, USA, the
African and Asian continents as well as other
leading medical establishments.
Downs Surgical is proud to be the sole
sponsor of the website.
The website includes a public section with basic
information about the facility. There is also
a members section which is password protected.
The members section is designed to be interactive
and populated with subjects for discussion groups,
research in progress and educational resources.
The Royal College have deliberately left this
quite empty so as not to appear biased towards
their own thinking. The objective is to establish
the site as truly international and educational.
